BETTY WILLIAMS: An the estate plan is a series of legal documents that helps people plan for their incapacity or death. Most people don't want to think about it, but at some point, everyone needs an estate plan, whether it is for wealth preservation or tax planning, to distribute assets at death, to name guardians for minor children, or plan for special needs of a loved one.

Having a solid estate plan will help ensure that your wishes are carried out should you become incapacitated or upon your death. In addition to estate planning, we also help trustees administer a trust, regardless of whether it is simple or complex. We advise trustees on their statutory obligations and duties. We advise them on matters such as accounting and final preparation of tax returns. We help with asset distribution agreements, and communication with beneficiaries.

Our attorneys are experienced with estate planning and trust administration. We help clients make these difficult decisions regarding these sensitive matters.
