ILYAS AKBARI: My career started as a bioengineer. I've always liked to get into the nitty gritty of technical issues and I got into the law because it was a perfect match. I then went to law school where I worked as a defense attorney, a corporate attorney, for about a year. My main areas of emphasis here are aviation law, medical devices, brain injuries, and catastrophic mass disasters.
