[MUSIC PLAYING] ATTORNEY: Hi, my name is Dan Leav. I'm one of the founding partners of the law firm of Leav and Steinberg. I attended Lafayette College and I went to Brooklyn Law School. I've always wanted to be a trial attorney, since I can remember. When I was a little boy what I wanted to do was speak in front of juries.

My area of practice is trial work. I focus on trying heavy medical malpractice, products liability, negligence, and construction accident cases. The focus of what I do it's convincing juries to award money to our injured clients.

I best serve my clients through intense preparation for the trials that I handle. I learned a long time ago that failing to prepare is preparing to fail. That is the motto that I teach the young attorneys here at the firm, and that is the motto that I practice by and have for the last 25 years.

The cases that we try are prepared from the minute we get the case until the verdict comes in at the end of the case and even through the appeal. There is no substitute for preparation in this business.
