Fred Soilis: My name is Fred Soilis. I’m an Attorney at Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Conboy in Pittsburgh. I’ve been practicing law since 1991. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I grew up in the Oakland area. I went to Riverview High School and from there I went to Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania. From there I went to the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. When I first started practicing law I was doing Worker’s Compensation, defense work, representing self-insured employers. I feel that representing employers early on in my career was very helpful in representing injured workers, as it enabled me to see the defenses that an employer will raise in either a personal injury action or a Worker’s Compensation case that will allow me to be most effective for my clients.
